Scope

This policy covers Bildy’s X account, direct-message interactions, the website at bildy.bild.my, consented AI calls, Bildy Briefs, matching, and optional handoffs to bild. X and other third-party services also apply their own privacy policies when you use them.

Bildy is intended for people aged 18 or older. Bildy does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

What Bildy collects

Information you provide

• Your X identity, public profile information, and messages sent to Bildy.
• Goals, current asks, experience, offers, interests, timing, location, and connection preferences you choose to discuss.
• A US phone number, call-consent records, verification status, and call transcript when you request a voice conversation.
• Corrections, deletion requests, match decisions, and sharing choices.
• URLs you explicitly ask Bildy to read, plus the text safely retrieved from those pages.

Information created through the service

• Structured memory and a Bildy Brief generated from what you shared. These are AI-generated and may be wrong, which is why review and correction tools exist.
• Potential-match scores, explanations, consent state, introduction outcomes, and feedback.
• Technical logs such as event IDs, timestamps, security events, provider delivery state, and operator approvals.

How data is used

Bildy uses personal information to:

• respond to conversations and remember context you have shared;
• create and let you review a private Bildy Brief;
• find, evaluate, and explain potential mutually useful matches;
• request consent and create an introduction after both people accept;
• place an AI call only after phone verification and express consent;
• operate safety controls, prevent abuse, investigate failures, and audit actions;
• measure whether conversations and introductions are useful; and
• comply with law and enforce the service terms.

Bildy does not use payment to rank matches. Bildy does not sell personal information or use private conversation content for targeted advertising.

When data is shared

With another potential match

Bildy can tell someone that an introduction may be useful without disclosing your private identity or details. Identity and agreed context are shared only after both people separately consent. Declining stays private.

Public Bildy Briefs

A Brief remains private by default. If you create a public share link, anyone with the link can view that published content. You can turn sharing off, but Bildy cannot retract copies someone already made.

Optional bild handoff

Sometimes Bildy may offer to hand a limited context summary to bild for company intelligence. This happens only after an explicit confirmation that shows what will be transferred. Raw messages, transcripts, phone numbers, email addresses, and embeddings are not included in that handoff.

Service providers

Bildy uses vendors to provide infrastructure and product functions, including X for social messaging, Supabase for data infrastructure, Vercel for web hosting, OpenAI for AI processing, Twilio for phone verification and calls, and Trigger.dev for durable background work. Providers receive only the information needed for their role and operate under their own terms and data-protection commitments.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect people and the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Bildy keeps X and direct-message text, call transcripts, structured memory, and related context until you request deletion. Raw call audio is not retained. One-time private links expire after a short period, even though the underlying information may remain in memory until deleted.

When you choose “forget everything,” Bildy deletes saved memory and conversation history tied to your identity. Limited security, consent, deletion, and audit records may be retained when necessary to demonstrate compliance, resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. Backups age out through the infrastructure provider’s normal cycle.

Your controls

You can ask Bildy to:

• show what Bildy remembers;
• correct a specific memory;
• forget one item or delete all saved memory;
• stop or resume contact and matching;
• turn public Brief sharing off; or
• explain why a proposed connection might be useful.

Depending on where you live, privacy law may also give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or obtain a copy of your personal information. Bildy may need to verify identity before completing a request.

Security and international processing

Bildy uses access controls, private storage, encryption for sensitive fields, signed provider webhooks, expiring tokens, audit records, and channel-level stop switches. No system is perfectly secure, and Bildy cannot promise absolute protection.

The primary database is hosted in the European Union. Some providers and operators may process information in other countries, including the United States, under the safeguards offered by those providers and applicable law.

Changes to this policy

This policy may change as Bildy evolves. Material changes will be announced through the website or @mybildy, and the effective date above will be updated.
